They have a cauliflower type of appearance and these form high towers to the atmosphere, and thus also called as the towering cumulus, and are described as a puffy or a cotton-like appearance and they are low clouds having a height of fewer than 2000 meters.  They often lead to the formation of the cumulonimbus type of clouds, and they form thought the convection when the warm air begins to rise and the temperature begins to drop. These clouds help to cool the earth's atmosphere when they form on to the Stratos type.
