The agricultural production of Africa, since 1960 until the present, has been increasing at a moderate rate, not a small rate. If it was only a slight increase, considering the ever-growing population on the continent (it is the continent with the fastest and biggest population growth) than very big portion of the ''plus'' population would have died from starvation. The continent definitely needs bigger production, especially for its own needs, but it has to be said that little by little the situation is getting better at some regions.
