Why does paine think that association with britain hunts america trade

Paine thought that Britain hurts America's trade, because Great Britain did not want want the United States to trade with any other country other than Great Britain, which hurt America's economy and also hurt the other countries, but helped Great Britain to prosper, because they had access to both European and American trade.

Water flows along the east coast and across the western tropical pacific towards south america, while they both are directed towards that way,  el niño does not directly affect the southern flow of water along the coast.
