Explain how looking at the magnetism of certain rocks support the idea that the continents have moved and changed over time.

I am not going to answer this in depth due to the fact that it probably wouldn't fit on the page. I know that the magma core inside the earth has lots of magnetic 'power', and that it matches up wit the poles and compasses. Also, it makes sense with the possibility that the continents shifted due to the tectonic plates shifting which is evident by the today evidence of California 'falling'. Well many rocks mix so if you look at a rock you found in jamaica then look at a rock you found in australia you can see a resemblance because they got mixed up when the continents moved jamaican rockes went to australia although there was still rocks in jamaica some went to australia
