Descibe the internal structure of the earth

The earth is made up of 3 main layers

1. Crust

2. Mantel

3. Core

Crust :- We live on the outer part of the Earth which is called crust. This layer goes up to a depth of 30-100 km.s. The crust mostly consists of various kinds of rock.

Mantel :- it is 100- 2900kms in thickness. The upper part of the mantle is a pliable layer over which crust floats. This consist of mainly of chemicals called silicates.

Core :- The core is 2900-6376 km.s in thickness. it is composed of dense and heavy substance like iron and nickel.
