Is there anything I can do to improve this eg more information? One thing I can recommend to India that will improve their life expectancy and wellbeing is that India’s healthcare is improved. I chose this as a recommendation because India's hospitals are mostly concentrated in cities, and primary healthcare is weak in both urban and rural areas. India's healthcare system suffers from a massive shortage of trained health workers: doctors as well as paramedical staff, such as nurses and laboratory technicians. We can improve Indian healthcare by increasing spending on the health sector, ensuring a stable supply of trained workforce and essential medicines, and collecting reliable data on key health indicators. By improving healthcare in India life expectancy would improve because of the increase in child mortality rate and due to better sanitation fewer diseases would be caught and spread. This will benefit India specifically because compared to countries with a similar level of income and economic growth, India spends very little on health. Another recommendation I have to help improve India's life expectancy and well being is that they have better access to resources such as clean water. I chose this as a recommendation because an estimated 160 million people in India don't have access to clean water and the situation is only getting worse. The Asian Development Bank has forecast that by 2030, India will have a water deficit of 50 per cent. About 200,000 people die every year for lack of access to safe water. Having clean water means being able to avoid exposure to countless diseases. Having Safe and readily available water is important for public health, whether it is used for drinking, domestic use, food production or recreational purposes. Improved water supply and sanitation, and better management of water resources, can boost countries' economic growth and can contribute greatly to poverty reduction. I also recommend that schools in India are improved. I chose this as a recommendation because schools in India are either of poor quality or not everyone can afford the education system that they offer. The challenge is to improve the quality of teaching. This can be overcome by properly training teachers and helping them with modern teaching aids, tools and methodologies. Smart classrooms and digital course content should be used, even teachers find these interesting. It could also encourage more people to take teaching as a profession. Education can also lead to more accurate health beliefs and knowledge, and thus to better lifestyle choices, but also better skills and greater self-advocacy. Education improves skills such as literacy, develops effective habits, and may improve cognitive ability. If people in India had a better education then it would allow them to have more opportunities when pursuing a career.
