Capitalism: Wall Street and the stock market embody capitalism. Large, publicly-traded companies sell stock to raise capital, which is bought and sold by investors via a system in which prices are directly impacted by supply and demand.
Communism: states controlled by Marxist–Leninist parties under a single-party system include the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Cuba, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Socialism: Many people use the term socialism to describe behavior in which a government takes on a larger role in the economy. For example, many opponents claim that former President Barack Obama, of the United States of America, is a socialist because he takes the position that the government should be involved in many aspects of people's lives and because he believes that people have a shared responsibility to each other.
Feudalism: An example of feudalism is someone farming a piece of land for a lord and agreeing to serve under the lord in war in exchange for getting to live on the land and receiving protection.
Distributism: Under such a system, most people would be able to earn a living without having to rely on the use of the property of others to do so. Examples of people earning a living in this way would be farmers who own their own land and related machinery, carpenters, and plumbers who own their own tools, among others.
Statism: Their mood was somber, for statism had permeated the governments of Western Europe while communism ruled in Eastern Europe with a little help from the Soviet Army.
Inclusive democracy: to serve as members of popular courts, or of regional and confederal councils. Such delegation is made, in principle, by lot, on a rotation basis, and is always recallable by the citizen body. Delegates to regional and confederal bodies should have specific mandates.
Market economy: The United States, England, and Japan are all examples of market economies. Alternatively, a command economy is organized by a centralized government that owns most, if not all, businesses and whose officials direct all the factors of production.
Mercantilism: Restrictions on imports – tariff barriers, quotas, or non-tariff barriers.
Mutualism: This is where 2 different countries get along. For example, how In World War II the chief Allied powers were Great Britain, France (except during the German occupation, 1940–44), the Soviet Union (after its entry in June 1941), the United States (after its entry on December 8, 1941), and China.
Network economy: Notable examples of the network economy model include arms trafficking and the illegal drug trade. Merchants participating in those markets cannot openly advertise their wares and participate in the open market since that would attract the attention of law enforcement agencies.
Palace economy: An example is the Minoan civilization which depended economically on the cultivation of wheat, olives, grapes, and other products. The Minoan economy also supported several industries such as the textile, pottery, and metalwork industries. Some of the manufacturing industries were based in the palaces.
Potlatch: During the potlatch, the chieftain gave a speech to thank all of his guests. Example: We held a crazy potlatch for my sister's 16th birthday. Example: The college students would potlatch almost every weekend, carousing until the sun came up.
Proprietism: There are no limited liability corporations, only full liability businesses where owners use insurance to protect their personal assets. If the company is engaging in poor safety practices, insurance costs will be higher, making it harder to raise capital in the first place (more investors will move their money to safer industries instead). If a catastrophe happens, owners' responsibility does not stop when they sell their shares. Instead, they will be personally responsible for a percentage of the damages and debts relative to the proportion of ownership they held. Assuming they purchased investors' personal liability insurance and/or their company purchased it for them, their personal assets should be protected and the insurance company makes any necessary payment in their place. If they didn't, they may have to sell their house, their car, etc. to pay off the victims of their corporation.
Workers' self-management: Prominent examples include the Brukman factory, the Hotel Bauen, and FaSinPat (formerly known as Zanon). As of 2020, around 16,000 Argentine workers run close to 400 recuperated factories. The phenomenon of Empresas Recuperadas ("recovered enterprises") is not new in Argentina.
