Some stereotypes americans have about Africa is that it is very dirty, people live in huts, it's an underdeveloped continent, the people are poor, the water is dirty, and that the people basically live like animals. I believe that the misconceptions are changing because people are starting to see how developed the continent is, and how people living in africa are living just like americans are.
