known to increase LDL’s in the blood. Consequently, in 1982, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Heart Association (AHA) made sweeping changes in dietary recommendations to the American Public and Food Industry to reduce the amount of Dietary Fat from 40% to 30% of daily calories.
