This was probably due to the natural protection that this civilization had from the Himalayas. Also, unlike the big hierarchical differences in the other civilization of the time, in this civilization, everyone seems to have lived in the same conditions, with the same size houses, and it seems that there wasn't class segregation, making it a very socialist-like society. Unfortunately, this civilization collapsed, with the most probable reason being climate change that caused a change in the course of the Indus River, badly affecting the economy and food resources of this civilization.
