Explanation:

North of the Alps mountain range and south of Scandinavia, the continente is dominated by the vast European Plain which stretches from the western part of France into Russia. South of this plain many different mountain ranges can be found such as the Apennine, Pyrenees, Alps and Carpathian. To the south of these mountain ranges we find the Mediterranean coast.
