Explain how hydrogen fuel cells work, and why they provide a healthy, clean way to produce heat and electricity?

A fuel cell that works by passing hydrogen through it's ''anode'' is known as the hydrogen fuel cell because it makes use of hydrogen for it's working. Such a fuel cell has oxygen passing through it's ''cathode''. When free electrons travel through the electrolyte, they hinder the chemical reaction.

Hydrogen and water either meeting in cathode or in anode form water which passes from the cell and resulting in forming electricity. It is a healthy way to producing electricity because neither does it emit any pollutant or toxin and nor is hydrogen very flammable.
