(b) Stratosphere- This layer is present above the troposphere. It extends from about 10 to 50 km above the surface. Here, the temperature increases with height. It is because of the presence of ozone in this layer that warms the layer.

(c) Mesosphere- This layer is above the stratosphere and below the thermosphere. It extends vertically from about 50 to 80 km above the ground surface. The temperature again decreases with height in this layer.
