climate change will also affect the level of precipitation on the earth. if there is more heat there will be more evaporation and thus more precipitation. salinity is lower than the average 35% it in equatorial water because of heavy daily rainfall and high relative humidity. oceans into which huge rivers like the amazon drain, have much of their salt was diluted and have a lower salinity. the baltic arctic and antarctic waters have a salinity of less than 32 % because of the colder climate with little evaporation. climate change will affect the precipitation level which will in turn affect the drainage system of rivers and in turn affect the ocean currents salinity level and its movement.
