Does the threat of global warming require international cooperation? why or why not?

The threat of global warming is very debatable but in my opinion yes, I think if we all cooperated we could stop or potentially slow it down. The burning of fossil fuels from factories and the cutting down of trees for example in the Amazon rain-forest they're losing water and several places are suffering from droughts. Over-fishing causing lesser fish and wildlife throughout the ocean. Since fish are a huge part of the diet it can cause dramatic changes in the food chain. Melting of icecaps from Greenland and Antarctica can cause dramatic sea level rises. Farming cheaper can cause problems as well. It's simply easier and less maintenance for farmers to do something that is cheaper than do something that takes longer but is better for the environment. Soon radiation will cause problems for wildlife. Global warming is such a broad topic I can talk about it all day. The only thing about the cooperation internationally is that it'd be so difficult because humans fear change.
