       This has, in turn, resulted in the degradation of the environment in a number of ways. Various forms of pollutions caused majorly through the commercial activities of humans have contaminated almost all the abiotic substances like water, air, soil, etc.

       Though abiotic, these substances form the basis of favorable living conditions for the entire biotic population on the planet.
