How might having strong information literacy skills impact your academic or professional career?

Having the ability to read, write and understand what is written allows you to move up in your academic. No matter how much you move up in your education from primary education to college and even work life , the basic necessity is understanding what is being said or written is significant. if you can not do what is being asked of you then your purpose to accomplish tasks becomes difficult. Communication creates gateways of knowledge about what is around you. Language is visible in its written form and is part of communication.
