The most important inventions for spreading European influence would be the method of getting quinine from cinchona tree bark, the Maxim gun, and the Repeating Rifle. The method of getting quinine would be because malaria had been a large problem in central Africa and someone was able to cure it, The Africans would believe that they were more powerful than they had thought. The two guns also could spread influence through force if they were not willing to listen.
