We know that energy can be converted from one form to another form and the total amount of energy remains constant.Organism use their energy to make their food then this energy is taken out from their bodies and gets mixed with the earth or the environment. As a result when the organism die their energy is converted into fossil fuels later making gas or oil which is also a usable form of energy.
