Bread is a very common product in France. There are many types of bread there including the baguette, ficelle, brioche, fougasse, pain de campagne, and pain complet. Bread  is so popular in France because it is so easy to make. People there would eat it very often in the 1700’s during the French Revolution that baker's today carried on this tradition. Bread is most commonly eaten at breakfast time with some coffee or fruit. Bread is also eaten with soups and with butter at dinner time. I would really like to try ficelle bread because I have never had it before and looks very tasty. French bread is sometimes used in my house when we are having sou or sometimes we make sandwiches with it.
