Your best friend just arrived, she says “salut jeanne, ca va? ” how would you respond?

Salut Jeanne, ça va ?

Yes,I'm fine, thank you = Oui, ça va bien, merci.
                                or = Oui, je vais bien, merci.

I'm not  very fine = Non, ça ne va pas très bien.
                      or  = Non, je ne vais pas très bien.

You don't have to say "oui" or "no"...
"Ça va, merci !" or "Ça ne va pas." is enough

Usually you say "merci" when you're fine

You can add after "Et toi ?" (What about you ?)
