Which statement is the strongest thesis for the writing prompt? in order to show that women were essential to the war effort, the british government created a series of posters and disseminated them during the war. during the war, the british government engaged in a campaign to convince the general public that every man and woman must in some way join the war effort in order to support their country. in order to convince women to join the war effort in some capacity, the government disseminated posters that depicted them as strong, capable, and necessary for britain’s victory. the government felt that if women worked in factories or hospitals or found another type of wartime employment, britain would have a better chance at winning the war.
