What is unique about lady capulet’s accent? romeo + juliet (1996)

Lady Capulet's accent tries to be Italian, but it falls short. The accent should be Italian because the setting of the play is Verona, Italy. However, sometimes her accent sounds more American South. This is especially true when she says "Nurse, thou knowest my daughter is of a pretty age."
