All of the other situations can be orally argumented, in fact giving a good oral argument would be the best way of doing it because of the nature of the situation. But an oral argument wouldn't benefit a demand as the one presented in the first option. Presenting a well written letter, giving ideas to optimize a neighborhood and giving good reasons for what we think is a need for the people who live there, is the best way to convince the authorities. It has to be, as I said before, well written and you have to give reasons why you think your neighborhood need this improvement and propose a viable solution. captain canot was never a slave so but he was a slaver and a slave ship captain and just like the slave master's he tought it was it was totally normal, he used captain conot is a cruel man who enjoys whipping slaves but never   got whipped he saw it has a destiny for the slave to be a slave and the slaver to be a slaver   but douglass has suffered whoppings cut   even for no reason sometimes. douglass believed that slavery was not natural to black people, they need to study and learn how to read and write. he knew they have rights.
