Well, here is an idea that I hope will be helpful, at least as a suggestion.

Mrs. Sommers wants the ride to never stop. She doesn't leave the car in front of her home; instead, she keeps riding as if she were enchanted by the magic that will not last for long. While she is lost in her thoughts, a giant branch falls off a tree, causing the car to slip off the rails. Mrs. Sommers falls out. As she is lying on the street, her eyes reflect the sky, the black stockings sticking out the bag, dirty and ragged already.
