The three stories deal with the relationship of white and black people living together. Stories simultaneously demonstrate the good and bad sides of this relationship to the point of reality in its own. Each story showcases reality how people of two different race treat each-other where the reader observes this harsh reality. For example, in No Witchcraft for Sale, friendship and reality is given together, where the reality outweighs values. The Moment Before the Gun Went Off deals with the careless death of a black boy working in the farm of a white person where the author unfolds the details of the reality. The Prisoner Who Wore Glasses shows how people are lost in translation of understanding where the reality again prevails. But this time this reality brings an happy end because it is unfolded among the people in the story.
