You need creativity because ideas are necessary in the performing arts to not only make yourself, but others, and even the show you're in better and more interesting. Lastly, you need to have great presentation skills. If you're going to be a good performing artist, the idea of stage fright needs to be in the past, and you need to have lots and lots of self confidence. This is so you can stand in front of people and do your best.
