Read the following excerpt from The Hero Project by Robert and William Hatch. FLORENCE GRIFFITH-JOYNER: Before I actually started competing in track and field we used to race in the neighborhood where I grew up in south-central Los Angeles. I said, "Wow. Wouldn't that be nice for me to be able to feel this good about something I love so much for the rest of my life?" So I chose, at a very early age, to continue running throughout my entire life. And again, it's so important that whatever you do in life, that you enjoy it.
