1.1. Students will choose any one chapter out of the following and write on any of the following associated aspects as well as co-relate the relevance of the chapter to contemporary global issues. They will also quote relevant words from the text to support their perspective.

1. A thing of Beauty.
- Mental health during the Pandemic finding a cure in Beauty in art, comfortable ambiance, examples of mental health issues faced by celebrities.
- The importance of beauty can release stress “some shape of beauty removes away the pall”.
- The importance of Nature. The Pandemic has shown us that artificial sources of Oxygen are limited. Afforestation is the need of the hour even if we grow potted plants in balconies “therefore are we wreathing a flowery band to bind us to the Earth”, “Such the sun, the moon…”
-The importance of appreciation was taught by the Indian PM in his speeches and Mann ki Baat during the Pandemic. Indians learned to thank those they had never thanked before: scavengers, nursing staff, ward boys, sweepers, delivery boys, etc. Advertisements associated with the same may be quoted/exemplified.

2.1. The relevance of the chapter will be gleaned and written as a Newspaper Report/Article/ Letter to the Editor within 800-1000 words.
3.1. The Report/Article / Letter to the Editor will be presented as a hard copy file.
4.1. Sheet A4 size, Times Roman 14.
5.1. Mark distribution: 05marks – file, 05marks – viva.
6.1. The Project file must include the following:
- Cover page, with the title of the project, school details.
- Statement of purpose/ objective/goals.
- Certificate of completion under the guidance of the teacher.
- An action plan for the completion of assigned tasks.
- List of materials/ sources/ bibliography used to compile the report/article.
- The 800-1000word report/article.
- Student reflections.
- If possible, photographs capture the positive learning experiences of the student.
