As a main speaker in a debate on the motion students should not wear uniform to school.

A debate is an argument between two groups. To write this debate you need to first choose a side and outline the points that you will use to support your motion. Assuming we chose to support the motion, points that can be used to support our argument are;

1. Uniforms prevent bullying on the basis of class.

2. Uniforms promote cleanness.

3. Uniforms prevent distractions induced by fashion.

4. Uniforms promote unity and sameness.

It is not unusual to find a mix of the rich and poor in schools. It is expected that without uniforms, the rich will wear expensive clothes while the poor might wear inferior clothes.

Rich students might use the opportunity to bully or scorn the poorer students. This will have a psychological effect on the poor students that might hinder learning.

When students are made to wear uniforms, they will learn to keep them clean since they might have two or three of them to be worn through the week.

Uniforms make students focus on their academics and it also produces sameness. You can make further research to expand on these points.

Basically, these four points are good supporting ideas for the debate.

Well my argument with that is the fact that kids don't get to show self expression with the outfits they wear. It has it's good qualities as well though because it help prevent more bullying about what other children wear.
