6.16 Create Your Advertisement! Directions: You will be creating an advertisement for the Restaurant that you are representing in the Restaurant Campaign Project (we chose our restaurants from the options in week 14!). For this assignment, your options are almost limitless. This is your time to be creative! Your ad can be whatever you want if it meets the following requirements. Advertisement Requirements • Uses at least one rhetorical appeal (ethos, logos, pathos) • Uses two rhetorical devices • Uses at least one logical fallacy or propaganda technique • Could function as an actual ad that you might see or hear Here are some ideas that you could use for your Advertisement • Film a commercial on your phone/computer • Record your voice for a commercial on your phone/computer • Create a PowerPoint that would work as a “commercial” • Create a graphic or PowerPoint slide that you might see in a magazine • Write a script for a commercial • Draw your ad at home, then scan/upload your drawing • Create a poster board at home, then take a picture and upload • Draw a comic • Create an animation • Create a pretend “billboard” that you would see along the highway If you are unsure if your advertisement idea is okay or not, ask me during class or send me an email!
