(this part is already answered)

Our lives are filled of obstacles that require the majority of us to strive and battle to overcome. This triumph, in addition to producing a sense of personal contentment, allows us to achieve our objectives and satisfy our wishes.

One of the most difficult things for me was addressing issues with my conduct that I knew were harmful and hurting myself and those around me. To begin with, it was really difficult for me to see that certain aspects of my behavior were inappropriate and that I had made a mistake. Admitting that this is incorrect is difficult, but we must have a critical sense of ourselves in order to recognize our shortcomings.

Once my "fault" was identified, I was faced with a new challenge: recognizing that I required assistance in order to achieve the change I desired.

It was a long trip with a lot of work and a lot of emotional ups and downs, but we were able to overcome all of that and overcome this hurdle.

All of this taught me that we must identify and accept the problems that lie ahead, and not be afraid to admit when we know we won't be able to face them on our own.

Read the following excerpt from "dark tower" by claude mckay before you choose your answer. "we shall not always plant while others reap the golden increment of bursting fruit, nor always countenance, abject and mute, that lesser men should hold their brothers cheap; not everlastingly while others sleep shall we beguile their limbs with mellow flute, not always bend to some more subtle brute. we were not made eternally to weep. the night, whose sable breast relieves the stark, white stars, is no less lovely being dark; and there are buds that cannot bloom at all in light, but crumple, piteous, and fall. so in the dark we hid the heart that bleeds, and wait, and tend our agonizing needs." in context, the expression "the night, whose sable breast relieves the stark,/ white stars, is no less lovely being dark; " is best interpreted as a. the light of the stars overpowers the black of night b. the black of night overpowers the light of the stars c. black and white contribute equally to the beauty of the night sky d. black and white continuously compete for prominence in the night sky
