Michael: Yeah but look at the quote: “He was brave enough to help the girl he loved.” There’s no way that the men on the street could have known that those two were in love.
Christina: Yeah, I guess that’s true. Ms. Leonard: But it makes the story more powerful, doesn’t it? And isn’t that Marrin’s intention? I mean, storytellers sometimes choose to dramatize a story to convey emotion. It's different than making stuff up.
