By the end of this unit, you will be able to:
Describe how musical styles differ, using musical vocabulary
Write in counts, compose rhythms in 4/4 time: half, whole, quarter notes and rests
Define “dynamics,” put in correct order: pianissimo, piano, mezzopiano, mezzoforte, forte, fortissimo
Define “tempo,” put in correct order: largo, andante, moderato, allegro, presto
Notate and identify pitches in the treble clef staff: FACE in space, EGBDF on lines
Identify instrument families: woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion
