Short story, 150+ words, prompt is this. "As the crimson bloomed on marble tiles, I felt my stomach lurch. I was shaking. I was sweating. This was true fear now, this heartbeat that threatened to make my arteries burst, this dizzy uncertainty. I had to do something, but I couldn't remember what."
Have fun with it! As with all my other short story rounds, the best story wins!
