1) billy was so happy about the price because comparing it to the bell and dragon that price was a big decrease, the landlady was only charging billy five and six pence a night, and it was also including breakfast. so he was barely charged a thing. 2) the landlady treated billy terribly nice, billy's impression of her was that she was a nice motherly figure. i think this was so billy would ignore the red flags such as the guest book, and continue with his stay. 3) when billy first saw the dog and the parrot through the window he thought it looked cozy, animals were normally a good sign in places like this. 4) when you see the dog and parrot you wouldn't think anything of it, they seem to be cozy but when you notice that they do not move, the dog never gets up from its spot in front of the fireplace and so on it is a major red flag. the appearance made the place seem very cozy and you would think nothing of it, but in reality they are stuffed and cannot portray a visual. 5) the house was cheerily decorated, it caught his attention. 6a) to make them feel relaxed, or at home. 6b) despite billy saying he was not hungry, he was bullied into sharing a pot of tea with his hostess. the tea was a cover up, she had poisoned billy. 7) when i was younger we were on a trip to disney land, my first thought was it was going to be great and the mickey and goofy characters would be great to take pictures with, well i was wrong and they were creepy. appearance on the website was different from reality.
