This is the second half of chapter 3 a story im writing

“Yep! I’m just here with my lovely granddaughter getting her some food before I head on down to her school to drop her off” she says “Oh that’s nice you must be the favorite grandparent” the cashier responds “I am. Unfortunately her mom.. My daughter is sick in bed this morning and didn’t have the energy to make her kiddos breakfast” mamaw says. The car behind us honks their horn. “Don’t you honk at me, I'm ordering my baby some food!” she yells as she flips them off. “Oh my god mamaw can we please order some food and leave please?” I ask “fine what do you want my little honey bun” she says in a sweet soothing voice. “I guess I'll have 2 hashbrowns and a pancake or two” I tell her. “Don’t be silly, order some more. How about 4 hashbrowns, 3 pancakes, a milkshake, 2 sausages ad...a large orange juice ... how does that sound?” she says. “Mamaw I don’t thi-” she cuts me off “I’ll take 4 hashbrowns, 3 pancakes, a milkshake, 2 sausages and a large orange juice please” she says “Will that be all for you today?” he asks “Yes and can you make that milkshake chocolate?” she asks “I sure can. Your total is … 14.53 at the next window” he says. Mamaw pulls up to the next window and hands them 20 dollars “keep the change” she says and then continues to the next window. We sit there for a moment waiting on our food and then the window opens and mamaw gets handed a big bag along with a drink hold with 2 cups. She quickly hands them to me and drives off. … it smells so good. I remember this smell from my childhood. Isaac and I would be sound asleep and then mamaw would wake us up and tell us pap pap got us breakfast from mcdonalds. We’d hop out of bed and run to the kitchen so excited and dig through the bags to find everything we wanted and then pap pap and mamaw would eat whatever was left. Which wasn’t much but even after we finished eating there would be food leftover. Me and Isaac never finished breakfast instead we gave half of whatever was left to pap pap and mamaw and then we would go lay back down and fall asleep. I start digging through the bag and find everything I want to eat and then give the rest to mamaw. I munch on my food as mamaw drives me to my school. We finally arrived about 30 minutes later. I finish munching on breakfast and hop out grabbing my bag and slamming the door. “Bye mamaw!” I say as I run into the main entry door. Everybody’s already inside, actually everybody’s already in class. I dart into the history classroom and sit down beside Kris. “I'm late, my mom was in bed sick this morning” I say to the teacher. “Please call me Mr. Wilson and don’t let it happen again” He demands. “I won’t let it,” I responded. I turn to face Kris. “Bonjour Kris, j'espère que vous avez apprécié l'école hier” I speak to him in French. “Bonjour belle fille, Merci d'avoir traduit pour moi hier, vous avez rendu ma journée tellement meilleure” he responds. Oh. My. GOD!...He just called me Belle fille. He thinks I'm...beautiful? I instantly get butterflies in my tummy.
