Alliteration - Consonance: repetition of identical consonants in neighboring words. It can help connect ideas, make sentences memorable or sound musical. Betty Botter bought a bit of bitter butter. “But,” she said, “ the butter’s bitter. If I put it in my batter, that would make my batter bitter.” So Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter, and her batter was not bitter. So it was better Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter.
