Choose two students to speak in favour of the motion, and two students to speak against. There must be a Chairperson who controls the debate. The Chairperson is addressed as 'Mr Chairperson or 'Madam Chairperson as appropriate. Each speech and each question from the class members must begin with either 'Mr Chairperson' or 'Madam Chairperson'. When making your points, you must avoid using personal insults. You should make your points firmly but politely. - After everyone has spoken, the Chairperson asks for a vote. This can be done by raising of hands. The votes for or against the motion are counted and the winners are declared.​
