Although Shakespeare uses
rhyme for a specific purpose, such as when
someone of high status is speaking, when
something important is spoken, or at end of a
scene or Act, he is mostly known for writing in
UNRHYMED IAMBIC PENTAMETER. This means
that he doesn't use rhyme but he does follow a
rhythmic pattern or meter of an unstressed
syllable followed by a stressed syllable, repeated
five times. What is this called?
