Termites burrow in the mangroves' bark and dead wood; ants crawl on roots and branches. Snakes, crabs, parrots, lizards, alligators, fish, sponges, mosquitoes, snails, oysters, lobsters, mudskippers, and even sharks live here, depending on where the forest is located.
