Instructions 1. Choose one of the stories found on Common Lit below:
1. "The Scholarship Jacket"
2. Excerpts from "Jane Eyre"
2. Rewrite the story from a different character's point of view. This means that
the protagonist should not be the one telling the story anymore.
3. Here is what must be included to get an A:
1. Include dialogue (have the characters have spoken conversations with
one another).
2. Include imagery details (include description details that use all 5
senses - sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell)
3. Include a beginning, middle and end.
4. Include transition words to move from one event to the next (next,
then, afterwards, etc).
5. Use details from the original story. You should not majorly change the
story.
