My dear sister,

I want to tell you something that happened last week. I know you will probably be angry with me and also have lots of advice and questions, but for now, please let me be alone and I will tell you whatever you want to know.

You already know that I had planned a trip to Disneyland with Andrea. The plan had been finalized for months and everything had been prepared, including the flight tickets and accommodations, everything. And last week, Andrea came over and told me that she cannot come for the trip because she doesn't feel like traveling out of state for the time being. I was so angry and hurt, so I immediately burst out. I yelled at her and asked her why she had to torture me when she clearly knows I had planned all these in advance and that I had spent my own money for everything.

You must know, I used up all my savings for this trip. I wanted it to be her birthday gift because I know she's always wanted it since we were kids. And now, she's telling me that she doesn't want to go on that trip. I can't get back all that I had spent and she knows that too. But she's not agreeing with it even then.

And when I told her all that, she got furious and told me it was my fault that I spent it all. She said she didn't ask me to do it and that I had done it on my own and it wasn't her fault. So now, my good deed of trying to gift my best friend the trip she’d always wanted turned out to be a mistake, my mistake. Do you see now why I was so furious with her?  

After that, we both couldn’t agree on anything so I told her she’s free to do whatever she wants and that I don’t want to be a part of her life anymore. I also said she never see the good people do for her and that she was selfish.  

So, sis, it’s been a week and we haven’t talked. I don’t know what to do. I just wanted to tell you all this so that you won’t hear about it from anyone else and get angry at me. I hope you can understand my situation and maybe, give me your elderly advice?

Missing you so bad. I hope to see you soon.
