Is this A Good Story so far? In a small town called Sleepy Hollow, New York, My name is Madeline and Im 15 years old, It was monday morning and so that meant I had to go to school so I woke up and ate my pancakes and had so orange juice then as I dashed out the door I grabbed my backpack and got on the bus.
We soon arrived at my school and the name of my school is called skunkhill school. I had the weirdest school, cause there were always rumors that the school was haunted or it was once a funeral place. But anyway my best friend’s name is Harper, she’s also 15. So After school Harper and I went to the library as we always do, but this time it was to study for our final exam and of course it was an ELA exam and we both disliked ELA. So Harper and I looked for a book to help with grammar and writing an essay, as I look for a book I find “The unknown essay” and I also found “The farmer that used grammarly” but the book that caught my interest was “The reader in the book” so as I look at the book there was something odd looking about it, so I showed Harper, and she looked and said “We should give this to the librar-
“No Don't, I found it and I need to look at this, so i'm going to bring this home okay so end of discussion” As I left the library harper gazed at me with a sad face. As I walk home I saw a homeless kid, a very strange kid as a matter of fact, he had dark brown greasy hair and green eyes. As I look again at the boy I see that he’s in ripped clothing, so I kept walking towards home, minding my business. When I got home I opened my backpack and grabbed the book but as soon as i was about to open the book i got a text from Harper she said “Hey im sorry, I was too aggressive, but do you think I could come over?”
I texted back, “It’s alright i'm the one that was too aggressive, but sure you can come over” 5 Minutes later I got a knock on the door, It was Harper, I said “Hey I’ve been waiting for like hours where have you been!” I screamed “It’s only been like 6 minutes chill” Harper replied “Okay” as I said and I grabbed her arm and dragged her upstairs and into my room.
I opened the book and said look what it says, Harper reads... “As You read this you will be captured and locked in the book forever,” then after reading Harper said “This is not good we have to get rid of this book or report it to the police” Harper said, then I thought... as I said “Uh Let's investigate more on our own, please” I Said “Ugh fine” Harper said.
As I flipped to the next page...I start to see blue particles around Harper and I, and then I starte-...bout a second later”Uh where are we?” I said then as Harper and I looked around we noticed that we were in another time and place. “Wait” I Shouted “this is where we live!” then I look at Harper as I noticed her Crying, “What’s the matter Harper’ as I say Softly, “Look,” as she pointed to an old building with a homeless boy chillin on the sidewalk, As the boy looked suspicious almost like the boy I’d seen coming home from school, as I noticed this time he has red eyes and a white coat and black hair covering his face as Harper and I leave the area I look back...and I see he is gone...
