In about 1 page (MLA FORMAT), explain the problem to me and why this problem interests you. Discuss what you hope to discover while you are doing research and any possible solutions that you might already have in mind. As you write the proposal, think about this:

1. Pick a topic that interests you. The more interested you are in this and the more personally invested, the more enjoyable the assignment will be.

2. Think about what a "problem" is in the first place. Is it a source of frustration? A roadblock?

3. How would fixing this problem make things better? What might be one way to fix it?
