How is this for my ela assignment about depression? I’m okay has become the most common lie for me, as I grow older colors don’t seem as bright as they were, I’m not getting happy over the small things, my mind feels like it’s been forever clouded. Things that were easy, seem difficult, like showering or brushing my teeth. I find myself with no energy or motivation, the things I once loved doing are no longer my favorite part of the day, I no longer see my favorite thing having a title. The days seem to be feeling all the same. Days turn into a weeks, weeks then turns into months and so on… I try to keep convincing myself it will get better, but that’s just a part of facing reality. Lately I keep catching my self wishing and wishing hoping ways would be like they used to… where I saw those bright colors and got happy over the small things. Hopefully I will see it again, till then I will keep fighting over my mentality and learn to get that small motivation to do the small things. A clouded mind will slowly drag down any type of happiness that was once there…till you clear that fog, you might catch yourself wanting a cry for help and wanting a “flashlight” to see clear, you learn the only way to get out is if you spend enough time looking… looking for that path of redemption and motivation. But In till you find that path… keep fighting tay, you got this.
