For your assignment, you will write a college admissions essay or a letter to a future employer using the Sandwich Method. Select one of these three topics for your essay/letter:
Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?
Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.
Your essay should have three paragraphs. Each paragraph should have four-six sentences.
Be sure to use the Sandwich Method, where the first paragraph captivates; the second paragraph elaborates; and the final paragraph captivates. If you get stuck and need help brainstorming, here are some ideas. For maximum points, you must answer using complete sentences and proper spelling and grammar.

Read the excerpt from "mother tongue." lately, iāve been giving more thought to the kind of english my mother speaks. like others, i have described it to people as ābrokenā or āfracturedā english. but i wince when i say that. it has always bothered me that i can think of no other way to describe it other than ābroken,ā as if it were damaged and needed to be fixed, as if it lacked a certain wholeness and soundness. what best supports the inference that tan believes nonstandard english is no less valid than standard english? tan spends a lot of time thinking about her motherās āfracturedā english. tan has trouble thinking of descriptive words when she is writing. tanās american education makes it difficult for her to understand her mother. tan winces when she describes her motherās english as ābroken.ā

Answer asap explain your answer read the explicit message of the "rain barrels" video: you can use water from your rain barrel for a lot of different things around the home and garden. which is the best textual evidence to use to support this message? i use it to fill my fish tank, even to wash the car if you want to. so not only is the rain barrel water free, but itās also free of chlorine and minerals. a rain barrel is a small investment for big dollar and environmental benefits. one of the benefits of a rain barrel is it holds that first bit of rain thatās coming off the roof or your driveway and prevents it from running into streams and causing erosion from high flows of water.
