Read the following excerpt from "Why I Wrote 'The Passage'" and answer the question that follows. Three decades later I was asked to write a creative piece about Automatic for the People, one of my favorite albums, by R. E.M., my favorite band. It was exciting. This particular project--one that commissioned a piece of creative writing for each of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time--had almost no constraints other than a word limit, so I decided to write a story. Then I listened to the album a lot. Several times a day, at home, in the car, wherever I was, I was listening, trying to figure out how to make a story out of the lines in the twelve songs. Because that's what I wanted to do--write a story that combined all the words in the lyrics in an entirely new way. This is what we call being overly ambitious.

Which excerpt from “the girl who silenced the world for five minutes” supports suzuki’s argument that she is “losing [her] future”? coming here today, i have no hidden agenda. losing my future is not like losing an election or a few points on the stock market. and now we hear about animals and plants going extinct every day – vanishing forever. i'm only a child, yet i know we are all in this together and should act as one single world towards one single goal.
