How might squantos experiences with the english relate to the pilgrims first encounter with the indians

When the pilgrims landed at Provincetown harbor, they were attacked by Native Americans, about which they later learned that a group of Native Americans was captured by the English Explorer Thomas Hunt and sold into slavery. “Squanto”, who was a Native American was in that group of slaves.

The attack actually was a kind of retaliation by the Native Americans for the act of Thomas Hunt.
