We know that what he is describing is said to be "an egg of Night...out of Chaos" and "son of Venus". This then eliminates all of these options. We also know it is Love because he says "There was also another Love". In order for there to be "another" there needs to be an initial one. Also, it says Love "is always an infant; he is blind; he is naked; he is an archer". These traits could all be used to describe Cupid, who is Love.
